Responsibilities:
Perform, lead and develop the Finance function of the country to ensure an effective development of the company value through excellence in Management Accounting, Tax/Treasury, Business Control, Investment Activities and Risk handling – applicable for both, existing business and any additionally acquired business.
Management Accounting
Ensure effective accounting for the country to safeguard company values.
Ensure compliance with the company policy and procedures, IFRS, tax requirements, securities and exchange regulations (if applicable).
Develop and integrate new processes and procedures when appropriate;
Implement, develop and maintain necessary financial systems to ensure high-quality accounting;
Ensure internal control on high quality level. Perform regular audits in order to monitor the implementation of the policies and procedures. Responsible for local audit process;
Ensure clear and transparent communication about company performance. Deviations to be explained clearly and communicated to corporate;
Ensure corporate legal matters are in compliance with country regulations;
Responsible for transfer pricing issues in the country and compliance with regulatory as well as group requirements..
Controlling
Ensure effective development of the company value through performance measurement (incl. balance scorecards) and propose directions for improvement in country performance and clinic operations.
Perform ad hoc studies with the aim to improve company values. Perform analysis required by corporate.
Ensure efficient budget/forecasting and strategic plan processes. Deliver the information requested from corporate with highest quality (time/financial components etc). Prepare the plans/budgets in close cooperation with the Country Manager.
Responsible for driving working capital improvements in the country.
Provide finance guidance and training to explain and educate non-financial employees (e.g. key performance indicators and financial objectives).
Tax & Treasury
Ensure high professional standards in the tax and treasury operations in the country
Procedures and processes in the country to be compliant with the Group’s Treasury guidelines.
Ensure compliance with local regulations.
Growth Agenda:
Support the business development activities in the growth of the business. Evaluate acquisition targets and investments; perform financial due diligences and advice senior management of risks and contingencies of the growth targets.
Work together with both the local Country Manager and corporate Business Development function to develop deal structures and valuations of potential add-on businesses
Responsible for the financial aspect of the integration of new business (risks, financial integration and legal matters).
Profile of the ideal candidate:
University degree in Business Administration or similar;
Minimum 6 years relevant working experience – preference in a wide range of disciplines within Finance such as Accounting, Taxes, Treasury and Controlling,
Audit experience will be preferred;
Experience in a leadership role and preferably working in an international environment reporting to corporate outside of own country;
Knowledge and experience of introducing a new IT system from a finance point of view.

General objectives of the function
Our client is an important player in agricultural industry and food processing sector in Romania. As part of a program of planned growth and the consolidation of existing activities, the company plans to expand its business in trading of agricultural commodities and the decision has been taken to recruit a Director of Trading Division in order to lead, manage and develop the Group's agricultural commodities trading activities. The position reports to The CEO of the Group.
The Trading Division should be successful, well established and active internationally in wheat, corn, rape seeds, barley, oils, oil meals etc. This role calls for a high achieving commodity trader and international businessman with the experience both to run a successful international commodity trading business and also to make the decisions necessary to improve performance and expand business by taking full advantage of the financial strengths and regional infrastructure of our company. We are currently searching for someone to join their top management team as Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, goals oriented, highly experienced professional, with the ability to coordinate a large number of people at a time and to successfully accomplish more than one tasks if necessary.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Build and coordinate the Marketing Department
- Develop the marketing strategy for all the companies products
- Manage and allocate the budget efficiently so as to best achieve the company's short-term and long-term objectives
- Ensure fluent internal communication between the top management of the company and the coordinators of the company's different units
- Perform periodical analysis of the market and prepare reports on the competion, clients' needs, further development opportunities
- Maintain relationship with all relevant marketing-related business partners of the company
Requirements for the candidate are:
- University degree
- Relevant experience in the media sector
- Relationship portfolio in the business environment
- Ability to set priorities, to work well under pressure and to follow deadlines
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
